I've spent most of my adult years alternating between a focus on business leadership, arts/music, and things integral (and into that domain I lump consciousness studies, psychological exploration, martial arts, energy/bodywork, meditation, spiritual community – you get the idea).

After years of enduring the daily split between my professional self and my authentic self, I stepped out of Internet executivedom and into the world of the progressive retreat/learning center. I am currently the General Manager for The Crossings (www.thecrossingsaustin.com) a conference center/holistic resort in the Hill Country just outside of Austin, Texas.

My mission at The Crossings is to develop programs that will help organizations (corporate, health-care, government, education, associations, not-for-profits, religious) make conscious transitions towards “second-tier” business models. The Crossings offers an ideal venue for transformative experiences, and we'll be partnering with teachers, consultants and others who will help us offer practical, measurable transformational experiences to organizations and individuals. The Crossings is already known for providing great programs focused on individual, interior transformation, and we want to broaden that mission to encompass transformation in the institutions which comprise the fabric of society. The Crossings, by the way, is also just a heck of a nice place to spend a weekend if you appreciate great Hill Country views, wonderful food, an excellent wellness spa, and a truly peaceful environement.

Aside from the work stuff I'm a fairly recent father (3 year old daughter, infant son) which means, at 41, that I'll end up being an “old man dad”. You can see my interests in the links below: what free time I have these days is thinly spread among reading, working out, meditative practice, movies, and the occasional computer game (a wicked and lifelong addiction…). 

I'm particularly interested in connecting with people who are interested in real-life applications of integral and developmental theory, and especially those actively working to create new, conscious business models.
